Parking at the Hilton Knoxville:

The Hilton Knoxville offers 24 hour valet parking at $12.00 per day for registered guest. Self parking is also available at $8.00 per day for registered guests through Central Parking's covered garage, attached to the Hotel.

Things Guests Will Need To Know

-Guests will receive their shuttle pass and tickets to the party when they check in at the Hilton Knoxville Downtown

-MUST have a valid drivers license -- used for check-in at the Hilton and to enter The Valarium -- Guest will not be allowed to enter the party without a valid ID

-MUST have a major credit card for check in. Credit card will be used to cover all incidentals.

-Check in is after 3pm on 12-31-09

-Shuttle pick up locations will be at the main door of the Hilton Knoxville -- Downtown and outside the main door of The Valarium.

-There will be two 28-passenger shuttles running every 20 minutes from 8pm to 3am.

-Guest will have to show Shuttle Pass (which they will receive upon check in) each time they enter the shuttle

-Must have party voucher to enter the New Year's Party

Shuttle Information

-There will be two 29-Passanger shuttles running between the Hilton Knoxville and The Valarium.

-Transportation will be available from 8:00pm to 3:00am.

-Shuttles will pick up and drop off at the main door of the Hilton Knoxville and the main door at The Valarium.

-Shuttles will run every 15 minutes.

-You will receive a shuttle pass with your information package when you check into the Hilton.

-Included in your New Years package you and a guest will have unlimited access to the shuttles -- just show the shuttle pass to the shuttle driver each time you need to ride the shuttle and enjoy a safe free ride.

1. What type of music will be played?
Live DJs will be Slim Diesel and DJ Alfred:The Music will be a mix of 80's, Rock, Dance, Top 40, and Indie mashups.

2. Do they have a live band?
All music will be from DJs mentioned abo...there will be no live band

3. What is the age range?
Age Range is from 18-...but keep in mind the party is at a bar. The bulk of the attendees will be between the ages of 21 -- 45

4. Will dinner be served?
Dinner is not included in the package but the Hilton does have a restaurant in the lobby that will be serving dinner.

5. What are the party favors?
Party favors are provided by The Valarium. They will consist of New Years party hats, horns, noise makers, Leis, ect. Party Favors will be placed around the club free for you to enjoy.

6. What is the dress?
The dress code will vary. There will be people in dress from semi formal to casual to club wear. The best option is to dress comfortable and for the weather. There are also pictures from previous years posted on www.newyearsatthevalarium.com

7. Can an 18 year old get in?
The party is for 18 and up ONLY! No one under 18 will be admitted. Please have a valid ID to enter the club.

8. Are there upgrades to the rooms?
Upgrades are available. There are four suites available at the Hilton Knoxville and we do our best to accommodate any request. Please note that you may incur additional charges for upgrades.

9. What are the rooms like?

10. Can you hold a room with my credit card?
We can not hold any rooms. All packages are first come…first serve.

12. Can we get rooms adjoined together?
We will do our best to accommodate requests for adjoining rooms. Please let us know who you would like to adjoin to when you book your package.

13. What is the shuttle service?
There will be two (2) 28 Passenger shuttles running from 8pm to 3am. They will run every 20 minutes between The Hilton Knoxville -- Downtown and The Valarium. You will be provided a shuttle pass when you check in. Just show the pass to the drive to get on the shuttle.

14 Can you upgrade to Limousine service?
There is NO limousine service available.

15. Can you get a package that has everything including a nice dinner?
Dinner is not included in the "NY10" New Year's package. However there is a restaurant in the lobby of the Hilton and there are several restaurants downtown and in the Old City.

16. Can you smoke at The Valarium?
The Valarium is Non-Smoking inside. However, there is a large courtyard inside the complex and smoking will be permitted there.
